Born in Chile. Studied Sociology and Music at the University
of Concepción. Numerous awards and prizes from national chilean
and latin-american festivals as songwriter, for example the
"National Festival of new Protestsongs", "The
National Folklorefestival from Talagante“ and the "Folklorefestival
in Patagonien". Has lived in Germany since 1983. Own

Pedro Gadelha (Double-bass)
Born in Brasil. Scholarship holder of the Herbert-von-Karajan-Academy
of the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra. Concerts and recordings
with conductors like Claudio Abbado, Georg Solti, Simon Rattle,
Seiji Ozawa, a. o. Also works for the German Symphonic Orchestra
Berlin and the Radio Symphonic Orchestra Stuttgart. Lectures
for Masterclasses in Brasil. Since 1999 member of the Frankfurt
Opera- and Museum-Orchestra.
Christof Saenger, Piano
Numerous performances, Radio- and CD-productions as Jazzpianist
for example with the Bill Saxton Quartet, the Daniel Guggenheim
Group, the Richie Cole Quartet, Allan Praskin, Tony Lakatos,
Keith Copeland and Paquito d'Rivera. Own CD-productions: Christof
Saenger Trio: Chorinho (Prize of the German Recordcritics
2/93). Prizeholder from the Montreal Jazz Festival.
Sabine Scheffel, Violin
Studies at the Music College Stuttgart and the College of
Art, Berlin. Performed with the Radio Sinfonic Orchestra and
the German Opera Berlin. Baerenreiter Prize at the International
Mozart-Competition, Salzburg. Member of the Symphonic Orchestra
of the SWF Baden Baden. Since 1990 deputy voice-leader of
the Frankfurt Opera- and Museum-Orchestra.
